‘Ibrahimovic is not up to months of rehabilitation and continues for year’

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will also be a professional football player at the age of 41, reports transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. The Swede is struggling with a serious knee injury, but has decided to stick to it for a year at AC Milan.
Ibrahimovic returned to the Rossoneri in early 2020, betting on the first national title since 2011, which also succeeded this season, although Ibrahimovic was struggling with some physical discomfort: after winning the championship, he even announced that he spent half a year without a cruciate ligament in his left knee had played. Despite this, he is going to renew his contract, Romano reports.
Before he can make his return, a half-year rehabilitation is waiting for him. Ibrahimovic faced similar complaints during his Manchester United time in 2017, but then managed to fight back and relaunched his career with the US LA Galaxy.
