AC Milan did not damage in Serie A in the duel with Cagliari. The leader won 2-0 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic played a leading role in Sardinia.
The cunning Swede quickly set Milan to 1-0; he let himself overrun and shot the penalty himself. Davide Calabria was close to 2-0 for the rest, but his shot ended up on the inside of the pole.
Shortly after rest, Calabria sent a long pass to Ibrahimovic, which perfectly shielded the ball and hit hard. Gialuigi Donnarumma had nothing to do for an hour, but was thoughtful when Giovanni Simeone showed up for him.
Negative supporting role Saelemaekers
There was a negative supporting role in Milan for Alexis Saelemaekers. The Belgian midfielder entered the field in 66th minute and was sent eight minutes later with his second yellow card.
It was not the first time that the former football player of Anderlecht got a red card as a substitute. Last season Saelemaekers did this in the away match against Napoli (2-2), when he took in after rest and turned yellow twice in the final phase.
