Iceland scares from 50,000 earthquakes in 3 weeks

In three weeks, there have been more than 50,000 earthquakes on a peninsula in Iceland. Experts say that for a long time they did not see the ground there so restless.

Iceland is an island with more than 130 volcanoes. As the volcanoes become active, the ground can vibrate. Icelanders experience this often, but the last few weeks it is much more than usual.

According to experts, it may be that a volcano on the island will soon erupt. They think its not going to be a big explosion, but that the lava is coming out of the volcano.

Therefore, many Icelanders do not worry so much.

Boats are ready for residents. If necessary, they can get away with it. Some people have already gone to another place.
