‘If Haller or Antony is paid grand prize, Ajax will go into it’

Daley Blind hopes that Ajax will not see too many pillars leaving during the summer transfer period. The 32-year-old defender himself expects to be active in the Johan Cruijff Arena next season.
โ€œAs it stands, yes. You never know. There will be a new trainer (Alfred Schreuder, ed.) and I havent spoken to him yet. I dont know his plans, but Im assuming it. I have one more year contract and an option for another year,โ€ says Blind in the broadcast of Bij Andy in the car.
Blind knows that Noussair Mazraoui and Ryan Gravenberch are leaving, but hopes the number of outbound transfers will be further limited. โ€œA few players are already leaving transfer-free, so I think Ajax doesn
t let players go that easily. You must have a team to compete in the Champions League and for the title next year.โ€
Still, the Dutch international knows that it is difficult for Ajax when the European top knocks. โ€œIf the grand prize is paid for Haller or Antony, then Ajax will go into it, but I dont think Ajax wants to sell a lot of players. I hope most of them just stay.โ€
