‘If Quagliata wants to force a transfer like that, that is not convenient’

Giacomo Quagliata will be back on the Heracles Almelo training field on Tuesday. The Italian left-back got longer time off due to international obligations, but attended a wedding where several guests appeared to have the coronavirus.
As a result, Quagliata was not yet present at Friday nights practice game with Sparta. We spoke to him and he will fly back on Monday. On Tuesday, he will join the group again at the training, Heracles director Rob Toussaint responds to TC/Tubantia.
Angry tongues could claim that Quagliata wants to force a transfer. After all, the left back was already linked to Feyenoord, Cremonese and Cagliari. If he wants to make a transfer, he has to be fit. To be fit, you also have to work out. If he thinks he can force a transfer in this way, this is not convenient, Toussaint keeps himself on the plain.
Heracles, who won one new player with Marko Vejinovic, is preparing for his first Kitchen Champion Division year since 2004/2005, opening the season against ADO Den Haag on Friday 5 August.
