‘Immortal Guard’ sequel to begin filming as early as next year

In an interview with Variety, Charlize Theron confirmed that work on the script for the fantasy action film sequel “Immortal Guard” has already been finished. According to the actress, filming is due to start as early as 2022, with the main cast members returning to their roles. It is likely to be directed again by Gina Prince-Bytwood.

Earlier information has emerged that the first film is planned to be turned into a full-fledged trilogy at all. The story of the tape was about immortal mercenaries who faced enemies trying to take away this unusual gift from them.

The picture, despite low-key audience estimates, topped Netflixs tops. In addition, in the same Variety piece, the authors mentioned that “afterburner” screenwriters are working on a spin-off about Theron heroin.
