Impressive Club Brugge rushes over Porto, Leverkusen defeats Atlético

Club Brugge dealt with FC Porto in an impressive way on Tuesday evening. In Portugal, the Belgians were too strong by no less than 0-4. Bayer Leverkusen struck twice against Atlético Madrid in the final phase and Eintracht Frankfürt settled Olympique Marseille in France.
Porto – Club BruggeThe Belgians have given their CL campaign an excellent follow-up. Where Leverkusen was already defeated last week, Porto was also pushed aside on Tuesday. The team of coach Carl Hoefkens, who had a base place left for Dutchman Bjorn Meijer, got ahead after more than fifteen minutes of play due to an used penalty by Ferran Jutglà.
Shortly after the break, Belgium‘s number three struck twice more. First via Kamal Sowah and then via Andreas Skov Olsen. In the absolute final phase, Antonio Nusa made the punishment for Porto even more painful by taking care of the 0-4. Due to the great victory, Bruges now stands at six points out of two duels. This makes it a leader in group B.

Bayer Leverkusen – Atlético MadridLeverkusen won 1-0 against the Atlético on Tuesday evening. Germany’s number seventeen, which started without Dutchman Jeremie Frimpong in the base, was most entitled to that over the entire ninety minutes. Diego Simeone, who chose João Félix and Álvaro Morata in the front, saw goalkeeper Jan Oblak save a number of times. The Argentine practice master alternated the second half with Antoine Griezmann and Yannick Carrasco, among others, still attacking, but his changes did not bear fruit. In the 87th minute, Leverkusen struck via Robert Andrich. Just three minutes later, Moussa Diaby handed out the final blow. Where things are going dramatically in the Bundesliga, Gerardo Seoane‘s Champions League team is’ just ‘in second place in Group B.
Olympique Marseille – Eintracht FrankfurMarseille’
s CL adventure is disappointing for the time being. The French already lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur last week and also had to mine on Tuesday. In-house, Eintracht Frankfürt, with Mario Götze among others in the base, was too strong with 0-1. Jesper Lindstrom provided a short break before the only hit. Due to the defeat, Marseille is now lonely at the bottom of group D.
