Canadian retro publishing house Incube8 Games announced that it would soon take out the tactical role-playing game Infinity, an unfinished twenty years ago, on Kickstarter. To do this, the publishing house brought together both developers of the original project from Affinix Software studio and new people. The work on Infinity was carried out from 1999 to 2001.
Affinix Software intended to release their project on the Game Boy Color, but in 2011 saw the Game Boy Advance console light. And, after long negotiations with publishers, Infinity has stopped development.
15 years later, in 2016, Infinity was released as a free ROM version. But Incube8 Games wants the game to have a real release: on a physical cartridge for Game Boy Color.
Infinity is an epic tale of how to overcome centuries-old hate and prevent two nations to exterminate each other. The game must have a detailed world with half a hundred areas for exploration, a hundred items of gear, and a unique combat system.
