The first Champions League win of a Moldovan club is a fact. FC Sheriff Tiraspol stunted on his own field by defeating weak Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0.
FC Sheriff survived no less than four rounds, so a club from Moldova is active at the highest European level for the first time. The club never came beyond the third heat, but now everything is different.
Adama Traoré goes into the history books as the first ever scorer for FC Sheriff. He shot a hit after sixteen minutes and caused Shakhtar big trouble with it. Traoré did so on Cristiano‘s report, not to be confused with Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.
It wasn’t until after an hour of play that FC Sheriff‘s fans were able to take an advance on a stunt, because when Momo Yansane headed in, a triumphant was very close. Shakhtar, with former Ajacied Lassina Traoré in the base, was unable to do anything about that.
FC Sheriff will need the confidence. Real Madrid and Internazionale are the next opponents.
Sooo that sits 🤯 FC Sheriff’s first goal ever comes in the name of Adama Traoré. The assist belongs to Cristiano 👀 #ZiggoSport #UCL pic.twitter.com/X16trUc1uJ
