“Inter issues opening bid: Lukaku makes future wishes internally known”

The game is on the wagon: Internazionale has placed a first bid for Romelu Lukaku with Chelsea, reports transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Belgian has already delivered a clear message to The Blues.
It was already known that it will be difficult for Inter to bring Lukaku back to Milan. After all, Chelsea wants to see a large part of the 113 million euros invested and I Nerrazzuri does not have that financial resources. For this reason, Inter switched to a rental structure and the club submitted an opening bid of five million euros in rent on Wednesday, reports Romano.
Chelsea declined this bid and is going to consider the amount sought after. Reportedly, both clubs will continue talking later this week. For Lukaku itself, it is crystal clear: the striker wants nothing more than to return to Inter. He would have already informed manager Thomas Tuchel and owner Todd Boehly. At the end of last year, the Belgian first openly announced his love for the Italian club, in a remarkable interview with the Italian media. His second term at Stamford Bridge is so far not what was hoped for. In 44 performances, Lukaku came to fifteen goals.

Inter have made an opening bid today for Romelu Lukaku: €5m loan fee. Chelsea have rejected this proposal and Inter are waiting for a price tag – talks will continue this week. 🚨🔵 #CFC @SkySportLukaku has told Boehly and Tuchel he only wants Inter move, so hes pushing. pic.twitter.com/eyfl6fa8nt
