“It feels like coming home. But what do you want? Everythings right at PEC”

Dwight Lodeweges is thrilled to be back at PEC Zwolle. He is now on the field every day, an important reason for him to take the job.
Lodeweges was assistant coach of Frank de Boer at the KNVB before this. After his departure, PEC approached him to become an assistant again. Lodeweges was already on the field on Tuesday. It feels like coming home. But what do you want? Everything‘s right at PEC. Staff, stadium, turf. And then I’m not even talking about the conviviality that prevails in Zwolle. I just feel right here. Moreover, after 3.5 years at the KNVB I was ready to do something new again, says Lodeweges opposite the Stentor.
Lodeweges will mainly lead the training sessions. Head coach Art Langeler takes a step back every now and then to focus on individual players. There are plenty of times when Art is just there. Especially in the run-up to a game, when we train tactically. But around that, even because he‘s not all head coach, he’s going to do a lot of other things. And so I can do a lot of field work.
