Hans Kraay junior is sure that the Dutch team will survive the group phase of the World Cup. In a pool with Ecuador, Qatar and Senegal, according to the analyst, this should not be a problem.
The Orange was not linked to a top country during the World Cup draw on Friday evening and Kraay voted that satisfied. “You avoid Brazil, England, Spain, Argentina…”, the former midfielder mentions a number of strong countries. “Instead, its Qatar. Thats a dream draw.”
Kraay therefore does not expect any problems with coming through. “Louis van Gaal has never seen Qatar play and Ecuador rarely to never. Like us, he has seen Senegal every now and then and that is a good team. They are not skillets, but we can already say that the Netherlands will continue to the next round. That is one hundred percent sure.”
The tournament starts for the Orange as early as Monday, November 21, the day when the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador is also played. Later, the Netherlands takes action: it hits Senegal. Four days later, the South Americans are the opponent and on Tuesday 29 November it will be the Netherlands-Qatar.
