The beach house that Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez have put on several real estate websites in recent months has been sold for a much lower amount than the couple hoped for.
Originally Jennifer and Alex asked around 7.5 million euros for the villa, which is located directly on Malibu beach, but in the end the couple had to settle for ‘only’ 5.6 million euros. This is reported by TMZ.
Originally the power couple had bought the house to have it completely rebuilt by the famous American stylist Joanna Gaines and her husband Chip Gaines. Recordings were even made at the house for the new television channel of the interior designers. But no matter how cozy that was, the party was cancelled in the end.
The intention was for the beach house to become the permanent home of Jennifer and Alex, but with all their new business projects the two would rather stay on the east coast of the United States. It was recently announced that their project to buy baseball club New York Mets had failed: they fished behind the net.
