‘John de Jong can work: PSV has money for big purchase’

PSV is still planning to move in the transfer market. The top Dutch club has the money for a big purchase, regardless of Champions League participation. The Eindhovens Dagblad emphasizes this.
PSV hopes to qualify for the group stage of the billion-dollar ball at the expense of Rangers FC. Regardless of the result against the Scots, however, a transfer budget is available for โ€œa big purchaseโ€. That does not mean that the outcome against the Scots has no bearing. Next week, PSV will know ‘much better what to spend and which player pond the team can angle’, writes the ED.
It is known that PSV is looking for an attacker, among other things. Donyell Malen‘s name sings around, but his return seems difficult to realize. The arrival of a new left back cannot be ruled out if PSV can strengthen itself in that place. Philipp Max’s performance has been disappointing for some time now. By the way, Jetro Willems is no longer in the picture to replace him.
