Juventus prevents De Ligts departure with brand new contract

Matthijs de Ligt is not going anywhere this summer. The Juventus defender is about to renew his contract in Turin.
This is what Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio report. De Ligt‘s contract continues until the summer of 2024, and it is planned that he will soon sign a contract until the summer of 2026: two years added.
Rafaele Pimenta, the right-hand man and lawyer of the recently deceased Mino Raiola, has negotiated with Juventus, according to Italian media. They were fed in Turin on Monday. Much attention was paid to Paul Pogba, who is in the interest of Juventus, but also to De Ligt. With him, there is now basically a deal for two extra seasons.
In the summer of 2019, De Ligt made the switch from Ajax to Juventus for 75 million euros and is a base player in Turin after a changeable start. He has played 115 games in the Serie A.
