Kahn does not deny De Ligt interest and tells what profile Bayern is looking for

Bayern Munich director Oliver Kahn has briefly responded to his clubs interest in Matthijs de Ligt. Kahn does not drop the name of the Dutchman, but does say that Der Rekordmeister is looking for specific qualities for the heart of the defense.
That Bayern hopes for the arrival of De Ligt is no longer a secret. The also interested Chelsea can pay more money for De Ligt, but the stopper seems to prefer a move to Bayern. In conversation with Kicker, director Kahn is asked about the Orange international. The former goalkeeper answers superficially, but does not deny interest.
โ€œWe are very satisfied with the quality of our central defenders,โ€ says Kahn. โ€œWe can improve there in terms of leadership, volume and presence.โ€ De Ligt is currently under contract with Juventus for another two years. It is reported that De Oude Dame requires a hefty transfer fee for the former Ajax song. In the coming period, it will become clear where the future of De Ligt lies.
