Internazionale and AS Roma both had to make a pass in the Serie A title race. The numbers three and two of Italy met on the early Sunday afternoon: Stefan de Vrij and his own were able to shake hands at the Stadio Olimpico.
AS Roma-Internazionale 2-2The gap at the beginning was one point, in favor of the Nerazzurri. AS Roma initially seemed to take second place: Lorenzo Pellegrini surprised Samir Handanovic after fifteen minutes of playing with a slider from the second line. After rest, however, Inter struck twice as hard, after two defenders scored in seven minutes. Milan Skriniar entered after a corner and Achraf Hakimi shot in a sparkly later via the bar: 1-1 and 1-2.
That seemed enough for the team of Antonio Conte to stay in the footsteps of city mate AC Milan, but AS Roma still had a second breath. Gianluca Mancini set the final score at 2-2 with a handsome headball, and Inter loses ground compared to AC Milan, which won Torino on Saturday.
