King Mohammed VI receives first dose of Covid-19 vaccine

King Mohammed VI proceeded on Thursday at the Royal Palace in Fes to launch the national vaccination campaign against the Covid-19 virus.

On this occasion, the sovereign received the first dose of Covid vaccine.

In accordance with the Royal High Instructions, vaccination will be free for all citizens, with the aim of immunizing all components of the Moroccan people (30 million to vaccinate about 80 per cent of the population), reduce and eliminate cases of contamination and deaths due to the epidemic, and to contain the spread of the virus , with a view to a gradual return to normal life.

This national campaign will be carried out in a gradual and incremental manner and will benefit all Moroccan citizens and residents aged 17 and over.
