Kitchen Champion Division: ADO and Kuyt deeper into slump

Dirk Kuyt has a disastrous start as trainer of ADO Den Haag. Things also went wrong against MVV Maastricht on Friday night: the Limburgers were too strong 3-1 on their own field. Willem II managed to win the first victory in the Kitchen Champion Division.
MVV Maastricht – ADO Den Haag 3-1ADO had a false start to the Kitchen Champion Division season with defeats against Heracles Almelo and FC Den Bosch. Nevertheless, Kuyt said that he thinks he is on the right track with his team. Nevertheless, the start in De Geusselt was disastrous. MVV immediately cut through the ADO defense like a warm knife through the butter and within eighteen seconds Kostons opened the score: 1-0.
After 23 minutes, things got even worse for ADO, when Mart Remans made it 2-0. Thomas Verheydt brought back the tension with a header after more than half an hour, after which the Hagenaars went in search of the equaliser in the second half. MVV stuck and strangled to his feet, but twenty minutes before time, Dailon Livramento threw the game into the final.

Willem II – Telstar 2-1 The downgraded William II also got off to a difficult start with only one point out of the first two duels. Matthias Verreth put the Tilburgers on track against Telstar by playing devastating after a repulsed free kick: 1-0. Kevin Hoflands team again did not play big and Glynor Plet tied the score. Max Svensson eventually brought relief in Tilburg, although Jorginho Soares was still very close to the equaliser in the very last second. He got a lot of space after a corner kick, but shot over at close range.

FC Den Bosch – Roda JC 0-3Dylan Vente was the big man at Roda JC against FC Den Bosch. The striker missed a big opportunity in the first half, but he made up for that in the second act. First, he used a penalty kick, after he had floored himself. And after that, Vente also made his second and third of the evening. The ex-Feyenoorder thus signs for the first hat-trick in the new season.
