Klaassen winks on first Ajax working day of season: ‘Number of boys not missed’

The internationals of Ajax have also started the new season. Devyne Rensch and Kenneth Taylor hope to play a big role at Ajax in the new football season, while Davy Klaassen did not miss all his teammates.
Because Rensch was on the road with the Dutch Junior, he was later allowed to report to Ajax. On his first working day of the new season, the defender is asked if this should be his year. โ€œA lot of people ask that,โ€ Rensch replies to the club channels. โ€œIt would be weird if I said no. With how I stand now, it must be my season, yes.โ€
The fact that Noussair Mazraoui left can be beneficial for Rensch. โ€œIt must always be the time, even if he was still there. But especially now that he‘s gone, I have to stand there and show that I’m ready.โ€ Taylor has the same goal after the departure of his buddy Ryan Gravenberch. โ€œMy goal is to become a basic player. I want to be champion, win the cup and get as far as I can in the Champions League.โ€
Klaassen also reported to The Future again on Wednesday. When asked if he liked seeing everyone again, the midfielder answered honestly. โ€œI missed some guys and some didn‘t,โ€ Klaassen winks. โ€œI’m not going to name names, haha.โ€
