The satirical program Klikbeet has 100,000 subscribers on YouTube and therefore received the Silver YouTube Playbutton. The channel draws 7 million views per month, the entire channel already has more than 55 million views.
After Klokhuis, Klikbeet is the second program of the NTR that goes beyond this border. It is made by comedians Eva Crutzen, Tex de Wit, Alex Ploeg, Stefan Pop and Kees van Amstel. Together with colleagues, they make sketches that give their own twist to current events.
Maker Stefan Pop already feels at home in his new role as an influencer. “Never thought this would happen to us, but if you want to stay informed about whats popular online, you cant get around Klikbeet anymore. I have to hang up now, because Im going to chill out with YouTuber Kalvijn in a golden Lamborghini”, says the comedian.
The program is online, but also on television every Sunday evening. Luc Willems of the NTR praises the way online and television reinforce each other. “Klikbeet is a good example of how a TV program can find an even larger audience through a strong online channel, an audience that may barely watch linear television.”
