A visibly emotional Jürgen Klopp has responded to Harvey Elliotts bad injury. The Liverpool manager confirms that the eighteen-year-old attacker is out of rotation in the coming time.
In the game between Leeds United and Liverpool (0-3), defender Pascal Struijk put a tough tackle on Elliott, after which the youth international ankle was no longer in the right position. Struijk had to leave the red field after his charge. It is not yet clear what the damage to Elliotts ankle is, although it seems to be a breakup.

At the end of the game, Klopp appeared in front of the Sky Sports camera. The German exercise master had a visibly hard time with Elliotts injury. “Its a serious injury,” Klopp begins. “I heard that his ankle has been put back in the right position. Elliott is in hospital right now. Well have to wait and see now.”
“He played a fantastic match and is a very good player,” Klopp continues. “Now hes out of rotation. I dont want a player to experience such a thing early in their career. Thats just the case right now. Well play soccer without him now, but were waiting for him. He is an absolute top player,” he concludes.
