Krul excludes comeback to old love for the time being: ‘Currently not realistic’

Tim Krul is boasted by the sporting malaise at ADO The Hague. The goalie from The Hague played at ADO in youth and still has a warm heart to the club. The Hagenaren are currently the gates of the Eredivisie, so degradation is getting closer and closer.
โ€œI follow ADO closely and get from acquaintances whats going on. It is a real shame what is happening now, that is simply not allowedโ€, says Krul to the Algemeen Dagblad. He then looks back on his time in youth training at the club. โ€œI have the best memories of Friday evenings in the Zuiderpark. I then trained on the field next to the stadium while it played first. Beautiful, as a young boy, I dreamed of playing there.โ€
Only that never happened, because Krul made the transition to Newcastle United at a young age. Right now, the 33-year-old goalkeeper is playing for Norwich City. Many ADO supporters hope that one day Krul will return to the club. That
s just not in there right now. โ€œI appreciate that people are hoping for a return to ADO, but that is not realistic at the moment,โ€ says Krul. โ€œIt doesnt change the fact that I hope the club will get better soon and there will be a new owner who will rebuild the club.โ€
