According to Ajax Showtime, Zakaria Labyad is on its way to the exit at Ajax. The Moroccan seems to be going to a club from abroad, but it is not clear to which club.
Labyad has a wish to leave because he‘s not dealt with at Ajax. The club leadership of the Amsterdammers is willing to think along with the midfielder. Labyad played twenty Eredivisie matches for Ajax this season, eight of which were the substitute. He scored five times.
The marriage between Ajax and Labyad has never been successful. The club picked him up for six million euros at FC Utrecht in 2018, but trainer Erik ten Hag, an old acquaintance of his, hardly appealed to him. Labyad plays a supporting role at Ajax this season. He left a good impression in the preparation, but he ended up on the couch again.
The same goes for Sean Klaiber. The rightback was bought by Ajax in the winter stop from Utrecht, but is not due to play. He, too, is already linked to a lightning chamber from Amsterdam. Klaiber’s still stuck until 2023.
