‘Lammers gets away from Atalanta and goes for new Italian chances. ‘

Sam Lammers is about to trade Atalanta for Genoa. The Serie A midmoter is looking for a striker and wants to offer the Dutchman the chance to gain more playing minutes than Bergamo.
Lammers may have played 17 league games in which he scored twice, but in the second part of the season trainer Gian Piero Gasperini barely appealed to him. Genoa wants to change that and, according to Tuttosport, has reported to Atalanta.
The Genoese would like to record the Dutch striker on a rental basis and in Italy they expect the deal to be as good as round. Lammer himself would have already indicated that he would like to make the move to Genoa.
The Tilburg born attacker was trained by PSV, where he never really got the chance to be first striker. A rental period at sc Heerenveen, in which he scored sixteen times in 31 games, did him well and a year later Atalanta took over him.
