Art Langeler was appointed Curaçaos national coach in April, but has already left. The National Football Association prefers a different coach. Guus Hiddink, technical advisor, quits himself.
Voetbal International reports this. Curaçaos national football association chooses not to continue with Langeler, but it is unclear why. It is also unclear who it should be, but in the Curaçao media the name of Remko Bicentini has been going around for some time, while Dean Gorré and Aron Winter are also mentioned. For Bicentini, it would be a return to Curaçao. He was once a national coach and is now an assistant at Canada.
After leaving Curaçao, Langerer is not unemployed. He was also appointed head of football development at FC Groningen in May. What Hiddink will do now is not yet known.
