Leicester City wins Chelsea FA Cup Final, starring role for the VAR

Leicester City won the FA Cup for the first time in club history. The final against Chelsea was decided late in the second half by a cannonball by Youri Tielemans. It turned 0-1.
No less than 21000 supporters witnessed Leicesters victory at Chelsea at Wembley. The British government allowed a limited number of spectators to enter. It did the players visibly well, although the start of the game was still a bit tame.
Chelsea, with Hakim Ziyech in base, had to leave Jamie Vardy
s first chance. A little later, there was a chance for Mason Mount, but Chelsea and Leicester didnt do anything more than that. Only just before rest there was a revival when Caglar Soyuncu, the man who took Manchester United, got a chance. Leicester had little trouble keeping Chelsea at bay.
Thomas Tuchel
s team did not meet Wembley and, as the second half progressed more and more problems with Leicester. The goal of Tielemans after 67 minutes came out of nowhere. He decided to pull from 35 meters and successfully: goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga had no answer to the cannonball of the Belgian.
The 0-1 was Tuchels signal to do something. In the hunt for the equalizer he brought both Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz. Ben Chilwell would claim the lead in the final phase. The left-back played for Leicester last season and was therefore kicked out by the supporters at ball possession. The equator presented itself, were it not for Kasper Schmeichel to stand out in the final phase after a commitment by Chilwell. He made the same in the 89th minute, but for that goal the VAR did not play.
