The days of Jesse Marsch as trainer of RB Leipzig seem to be counted. Julian Nagelsmanns successor saw his team with 2-1 losses visiting Union Berlin on Friday evening. Leipzig director Oliver Mintzlaff is increasing the pressure considerably.
Leipzig is currently in a very disappointing eighth place in the Bundesliga. Marschs job is therefore seriously on the way, reports transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Director Mintzlaff increased pressure on the practice master after the match against Union. “It was a catastrophic achievement,” he was discharged in front of DAZNs camera.
Whether Marsch is going to have the chance to get Leipzig back on track is still the question. The club management is going to make a quick decision about the future of the trainer, Romano knows.
