Such lethal firearms incidents are more likely to occur in the United States. According to advocacy group According to Everytown For Gun Safety, which is battling for stricter gun laws, 111 people were killed in “unintentional shootings” by American children this year. Between 2015 and 2020, 765 people were reported to have been killed and more than 1500 people were injured, according to the organization.
