Lyon and Bosz book second win in a row after Dembélé wonder goal

Peter Bosz has made another victory with Olympique Lyon. In-house Les Gones were 3-1 too strong for RC Strasbourg.
After eight minutes of play it was already hit for Lyon. With a fantastic volley, striker Moussa Dembélé managed to outlay goalkeeper Matz Sels: 1-0, Lyon had some chances to increase the margin, but it was no longer possible in the first half.

That was a different story in the second act of the game. Xherdan Shaqiri swung the ball in the 64th minute before Strasbourg’s goal and Jason Denayer was alert: the Belgian defender won his game and thus could head the 2-0 against the ropes.

Lyon 2-0! 👌 Denayer crowns his good match with a goal and certainly gives Lyon the necessary 3 points 🔥 #ZiggoSport #Ligue1 #OLRCSA

In the final phase, Lucas Paquetá also signed the 3-0 before Dimitri Liénard caused a shock by lying down on the field out of nowhere. He was eventually worn with a stretcher off the field.
However, in the absolute final phase, Strasbourg received another penalty, which was used by substitute Mouhamadou Diallo: 3-1, which was also the final result. As a result of the victory, Bosz and Co. climb to eighth place in Ligue 1. Lyon now has eight points after five games, after winning FC Nantes for the international period.
