Man deliberately shoots dog in Brabant, animal slept

A 59-year-old man of Polish origin deliberately shot a dog in Nuenen, Brabant. The animal was hit in the back. A veterinarian was forced to put the dog out of suffering and put the beast to sleep. The bullet was removed at autopsy.

According to Eindhovens Dagblad, the man deliberately shot the animal. The police tell the newspaper that the shooter stated that he was afraid that the dog running loose would attack his pigeons. The incident took place in the outskirts of Nuenen.

At Omroep Brabant the owner is now also doing her story. The woman walked with her daughter-in-law and dog George on a loose field. From there, you can walk right into the woods. โ€œGeorge was then shot through under a fence and contracted someones yard. Normally, he comes right back when I call him. I immediately said to my daughter-in-law: hold your dog because George always comes back,โ€ says the woman against regional broadcaster. โ€œI walked towards that yard and then I saw George dragging with his hind legs. It had already happened by then.โ€

โ€œ Of course, we were hoping that the damage would be easy. But the vet found a bullet in his spinal vertebra. Then we had to make the choice to put him to sleep. George was only with us for three years,โ€ she continues.

The 59-year-old man from Poland was arrested outside the act on Monday.

Police are showing a photo of the weapon on social media. The spring pressure gun falls under the category of air pressure guns. The dogs owner doesnt understand the man grabbed a gun. โ€œChase the dog away or throw it with a pebble if necessary. George was a super sweet creature, he doesnt deserve this,โ€ she concludes.
