A Moroccan man has been arrested in Spain for the murder of six family members, including two children. The victims were stabbed to death in their sleep.
The arrest took place on Saturday in Castellón, according to the Spanish police. The husband has lived there since 2002 with his wife and one of his sons. The defendant was involved in a quarrel with several family members over an inherited piece of land. According to the police, he threatened to kill his brother and his family in their house at night.

The murder took place in February in Salé, located in north-west Morocco. The brother and his wife were killed in their sleep, as were two adult children and two minor grandchildren. The unsub ran after setting the house on fire.
