Manchester United stands with one leg in the semifinals of the Europa League. The number two of England won 0-2 on a visit to Granada. Villarreal did good business too, but Arsenal took a damper in the final minute.
Granada – Manchester United 0-2The streaker that stormed into the field just after the whistle signal proved to be the most measured spectacle in the first half hour. Granada and Man United did not take care of that themselves, until after just over half an hour. A great ball of Victor Lindelof was taken at least as great by Marcus Rashford, who turned it 0-1. Granada came for rest no further than a shot in the beating.
In the second half, hardly any spectacle was offered. Just before time Man United left a great chance of 0-2 via Bruno Fernandes, but the Portuguese shot in a penalty during injury time. Donny van de Beek got only five minutes from manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Arsenal – Slavia Prague 1-1Arsenal is due next week to stop shutdown in the Europa League. The Gunners got ahead just before time, but they took an expensive outgoal just before time.
Arsenal had not scored a goal at home for 4.5 hours, but the predominance was definitely not against Slavia. It rained in the first half chances, although the team of Mikel Arteta lacked sharpness. In the second half, that was no different. Alexandre Lacazette missed a mega dance after an hour, but record purchase Nicolas Pépé made 1-0 just before time.
That seemed enough for the victory, but in the time of injury the Czechs Arsenal hurt a lot.
Dinamo Zagreb – Villarreal 0-1Villarreal has booked excellent business at the Dinamo Zagreb stunt team. It was 0-1 by a goal just before the rest of Gerard Moreno. He shot from the penaltytip.
Dinamo Zagreb was certainly not a chance. The Croats got good chances of equalizing in the second half, but missed luck. Star player Mislav Orsic didnt have his day either.
