Manchester City can almost claim the title in the Premier League. Manchester United and Chelsea played 0-0, while Leicester City lost the home match against Arsenal with 1-3. Meanwhile, Liverpool straightened its back slightly by winning 0-2 at the gate closer Sheffield United.
Remiseless top man
Manchester United has fallen further behind in the battle for the title with city mate Manchester City. Number 2 did not go beyond 0-0 at number 5 Chelsea, which led to the backlog of the City leader to 12 points.
Both teams left great odds on a goal at Stamford Bridge. At Chelsea, among others, ex-Ajacied Hakim Ziyech, exchanged in the 78th minute, and substitute Reece James close to 1-0. On behalf of Manchester United, with midfielder Donny van de Beek on the bench, Brazilian Fred almost scored after the rest.
Manchester United is now twenty consecutive away matches in the Premier League undefeated. The record series started on February 17, 2020 with a 2-0 victory at Chelsea.

Liverpool knows what to win
After four league layers in a row, Liverpool has won again (0-2). Fence closer Sheffield United was a welcome opponent for the plagued team.
It was thanks to goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale that Sheffield United took peace unharmed. He performed countless rescues against the insisting Liverpool.
After the break, the visitors quickly came ahead. 20-year-old midfielder Curtis Jones shot. It was his first hit this season in the Premier League. After more than an hour, Roberto Firmino made 2-0 with a shot that was changed direction by opponent Kean Bryan.
Liverpool is sixth, at 2 points of number 4 West Ham United, which lost 2-1 to the Manchester City front runner. The top 4 of the Premier League takes place for the group stage of the Champions League.
Arsenal wins in Leicester
After the elimination in the Europa League against Slavia Prague, Leicester City also went wrong in the league. At home against Arsenal it lost 1-3, although the start was still very promising for ‘The Foxes’.
Youri Tielemans already opened the score for Leicester in the sixth minute. David Luiz headed Arsenal at the same height in the 38th minute, after a free kick by Willian. Alexandre Lacazette shot Arsenal in the final phase of the first half from the point of penalty: 1-2. Nicolas Pépé signed in the 52nd minute before 1-3, again on Willian‘s sign. Arsenal climbed through profit to ninth place.
Leicester is now third in the Premier League, with 13 points less than City.
Outstanding Bale helps Spurs win over Burnley
Gareth Bale was the big man at Tottenham Hotspur in the home game against Burnley: 4-0, the Wales attacker scored twice and prepared a hit from Harry Kane. Lucas Moura made the 3-0
Tottenham recovered from defeats against West Ham United (2-1) and Manchester City (3-0). The team of trainer José Mourinho is currently eighth in the Premier League. Burnley remains the number 15 of the highest English football class.

Belgium: Anderlecht wins a diluted top in Liège
Anderlecht won the diluted topper against Standard Liège with 3-1. The duel is regarded as the ‘Clasico‘ in Belgium, but in Liège the number 10 of the rankings received the number 6. The difference with number 4 Oostende is only one point. But leader Club Brugge has no less than eighteen points more and two duels.
The contest yielded little spectacle. After errors in Liège’s defence, Francis Amuzu entered the 1-0 in the 22nd minute from an impossible angle for visitors. In the 71st minute, it was 0-2 by a goal of Kemar Lawrence. Shortly before time it became exciting when Selim Amallah scored on behalf of the home team: 1-2. Deep in injury time, Mohammed Dauda was responsible for the 1-3. Standard is already waiting six duels for a victory.
