Mandatory mouthcap on naked bike tour of Philadelphia

They want to go out naked with their bikes, but a mouthcap is mandatory at the annual Philly Naked Bike Ride in Pennsylvania, United States.

Participants on the naked bike ride are allowed to leave their pants, shirts and even underwear at home, but a mouthmask remains remarkably obligatory, reports press agency AP. The tour takes place on August 28 in Philadelphia. Last year, the event was canceled because of the coronaperikelen.

According to the organization, the mouth mask duty is necessary because of the citys coronation policy. There have already been some eases, but this event would not qualify for that. Further consultation with the municipal authorities on the guidelines may follow.

The sometimes thousands of cyclists gather in a park and then take a tour of about 16 kilometers through the city. They color their bodies with paint and protest against fossil fuels.
