Media group wants Germany to prosecute Saudi Crown Prince to Khashoggi

Media organization Reporters Without Borders wants Germany to prosecute Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and four other Saudi‘s for crimes against humanity. The action group holds the five responsible for the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the arbitrary imprisonment of more than 30 other journalists in Saudi Arabia.

The press freedom organization has filed hundreds of pages of charges at the federal court in Karlsruhe. Which is being studied, the Public Prosecutor’s Office has informed. The complaint was made in Germany because crimes against humanity that have been committed anywhere in the world can be prosecuted.

The

reason for the complaint is the American intelligence report that was released last week. It says that the Saudi Crown Prince was behind the murder of Khashoggi. He approved the murder and probably ordered it, the Secret Services say.

Bin Salman denies involvement in the murder, but she did say he took full responsibility.
