Bloomberg, citing its own sources, reports that Sony plans to release a VR helmet for the PlayStation 5 in late 2022. According to sources, the next generation PlayStation VR will use SAMSUNG OLED screens. Recall that Sony announced a VR helmet for the PlayStation 5 in February this year, sharing the first device details.
Later, the company introduced controllers for the next generation PlayStation VR that utilize DualSense. The specifications of the VR helmet for the PlayStation 5 are not yet officially presented, however the publication UploAdVR previously reported that the device would receive support for resolution 2000×2040 pixels per eye, eye tracking for “foveated rendering” and recoil on the helmet itself.
