The Dutch team takes three victories to the knockout phase of the European Championships. The third group game against North Macedonia also ended winning: 0-3.
The game with North Macedonia was about the emperors beard. The Netherlands had already placed itself against Ukraine and Austria as a group winner for the eighth final. Thats why coach Frank de Boer gave two players rest: Donyell Malen replaced Wout Weghorst and Ryan Gravenberch played for Marten de Roon, who was on the edge.
