Ministers at Tjeenk Willink: corona repair plan not to our

The demissionary cabinet does not seem to be working on a recovery plan for the post-corona economy for the time being. The three Ministers of Economic Affairs, Social Affairs and Finance concerned discussed this morning with Informer Tjeenk Willink.

โ€œ The bigger the subjects and the more they are about real structural economic affairs, the more obvious that this will be up to the forging partiesโ€, said Minister Hoekstra of Finance afterwards.

The chairman of the Socio-Economic Council, Mariรซtte Hamer, just yesterday told Tjeenk Willink that the delayed formation of the cabinet must not mean that it will take a long time before there is a recovery plan. โ€œWe cant afford to wait,โ€ was her message.

Support packages

The trio stressed today that they do not leave people in the cold, because they do continue with support packages. โ€œAll of us understand the concerns of entrepreneurs well,โ€ said Vant Wout (Economic Affairs). The third aid package will run until 1 July and we are now discussing how it will proceed after that.

โ€œ We are discussing all the arrangements out there,โ€ said Great Tit (Social Affairs). โ€œIt is our responsibility to prevent people from ending up between shore and ship.โ€ In mid-May, more will be announced on how they intend to do so.

Trade union FNV and employers organisation VNO-NCW want the corona support measures to be extended until the end of the year. Today they pleaded in a letter to Tjeenk Willink.
