Motorsport: Mir new world champion MotoGP

15.06 hours: The Spaniard Joan Mir is the new world champion in the MotoGP. The 23-year-old driver of Suzuki finished seventh in the Grand Prix of Valencia and that ranking was sufficient to gain an unbridgeable edge over the competition in the championship in the penultimate race of the year.

The Italian Franco Morbidelli, who was still contender of the title, did what he had to do. The driver of Yamaha won the race after a spectacular duel with Australian Jack Miller, but Mir scored enough points in his rankings to secure the title. He is the successor to Marc Marquez, the six-time world champion who broke his right arm at the beginning of the season and stopped coming into action.

Football: Orange-wrouls practice on 27 November against United States

14.39 p.m.: The Dutch women‘s team plays a game against the United States on 27 November. Orange meets the world champion at the Rat Verlegh Stadium in Breda.

This is the first time that both countries have played against each other after the finals of the 2019 World Cup in Lyon, in which ‘Team USA‘ was too strong with 2-0. The kick-off in Breda is at 6:35.

American football women are first in the FIFA ranking and are the most successful team in the history of women’s football. Football: Go Ahead Eagles defeats FC Den Bosch

14.36 hours: Go Ahead Eagles has achieved the fifth win of the season against FC Den Bosch. The team of coach Kees van Wonderen was at home in Deventer with 3-0 too strong for FC Den Bosch. Go Ahead rises through victory to seventh place in the Kitchen Champion Division with 19 points.

Tennis: Rus takes Zidansek double title in Linz

Motorsport: Bendsneyder eighth in Moto2 Valencia, win Martin

13.50: Motorcyclist Bo Bendsneyder has achieved his best result of the season in the Moto2 with eighth place in the Grand Prix of Valencia. The 21-year-old Rotterdammer, who has to leave for the racing team of Roelof Waninge after this season, started as ninth and managed to improve a place. The victory went to the Spaniard Jorge Martín.

Marco Bezzecchi took the lead at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit early in the race, but the Italian left it to his compatriot Fabio di Giannantonio in the final round. In the stand for the World Championship, Albert Arenas continues to take the lead. The Spaniard finished fourth and comes in the World Cup stand at 170 points. He ended with the Japanese Ai Ogura, who crossed the finish line eighth and now stands at 162 points. Arbolino, due to his victory, took third place in the stand. The Italian has 159 points.

Football: Ukraine sends home infected internationals

09.39 a.m.: Federal coach Andrei Shevchenko of the Ukrainian football team has sent home his four players infected with the coronavirus.

With the rest of his selection, the team takes on Tuesday against Switzerland in Lucerne, said the coach after the defeat (1-3) Saturday in Leipzig against Germany in the Nations League.

Four players and a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus on Friday. One of them was top shooter Andrei Jarmollenko.
