More and more schools order corona tests themselves

More and more primary schools are buying their own corona tests. They think that the regular test at the GGD takes too long. That’s what it says in the newspaper Trouw.

If a teacher or master is sick, they sometimes have to wait days before they can go to a test street. Then they have to wait a few more days for the results. All that time they can’t teach.

Earlier know

If schools buy tests themselves, they know on the same day whether a teacher has corona. If the teacher doesn’t have a corona, classes don’t have to be sent home.

School principals believe that teachers should be given priority in corona tests. That way teachers can get back to work faster. We had a statement about that earlier.
