Attacker Ousmane Dembélé of FC Barcelona suffered an injury on Saturday night during the lost away match at Cádiz (2-1). According to his club, the Frenchman has a hamstring injury in the right leg.
Trainer Ronald Koeman brought Dembélé to the field after rest for Philippe Coutinho. The 23-year-old wingpoint played the game, but tests showed that he pulled his hamstring on Sunday.
Dembélé is not the only Catalan injury case. Ansu Fati, Samuel Umtiti, Gerard Pique and Sergi Roberto are also included in the rag basket.
Against Cádiz, the French winger played his twelfth game of the season. He scored four times. Koeman complimented Dembélé in the run-up to the duel with the newcomer in the Spanish competition for its recent form.
The pressure is full on Koemans boiler anyway. The Spanish newspapers were not tender in their criticisms after the duel with Cádiz.
In the decisive 2-1 of Cadiz, according to the Spanish sports newspaper AS, several players were more like actors from a laughing film. The conclusion was that FC Barcelona committed suicide in Andalusia.
