AS Roma – SS Lazio 2-0AS Roma has administered archrival SS Lazio a sensitive defeat. Rick Karsdorp started in the base with the ‘
home team‘ and with a good block he prevented Luis Alberto from opening the score. Lazio initially had the better of the game and also saw a hit by Vethat Muriqi be rejected because of offside play. It was Roma who, however, had the luck on his side. Henrikh Mkhitaryan struck shortly before rest after good preparatory work by Edin Dzeko.

Brighton & Hove Albion – West Ham United 1-1West Ham United slips further into the Premier League. The Hammers played 1-1 against Brighton & Hove Albion, where Joël Veltman and Davy Pröpper were missing with injuries. West Ham prevailed for rest, but did not get the ball into the goal. In the second half Brighton was also more off and six minutes before Danny Welbeck seemed to decide the duel: 1-0. Benrahma still saved a point for West Ham, which is still sixth, but Tottenham Hotspur and Everton can reach the same level.
Genoa – Atalanta 3-4With Hans Hateboer and Marten de Roon in the base, Atalanta initially seemed to have an easy victory. At rest it was already 0-3 for the visitors, due to goals of Duván Zapata, Ruslan Malinovski and former Heracles and Vitesse player Robin Gosens, who scored with a headball. In the second half, Eldor Shomurodov made the 1-3 on behalf of the home team. Soon after that, Mario Pasalic made sure that the margin was three again. However, Genoa returned to the match, due to goals of Goran Pandev and again Shomurodov: 3-4. Atalanta did not give up the victory in the final phase.

Because of the victory, Atalanta can no longer fall outside the top four in Serie A. Number five Juventus may be equal in points, but Atalanta has the advantage in the mutual result.
Rangers – Aberdeen 4-0In Scotland, Rangers has also won her final competition duel. A private goal by Joe Lewis and ‘normal’ goals from Kemar Roof (twice) and Jermain Defoe earned the 4-0 final score. Rangers had been champion for a long time, but the formation of Steven Gerrard made history due to the victory against Aberdeen on Saturday. Rangers did not lose a league duel throughout the season. A Scottish team succeeded once before: Celtic in the 2016-2017 season.
