Mundo Deportivo inquiries and confirms: Wine aldum ‘tends towards PSG’

On Friday night, ESPN unpacked with news that Paris Saint-Germain FC Barcelona wants to outwit the battle for Georginio Wijnaldum‘s signature. Mundo Deportivo has now made inquiries about ‘sources within the club‘ and confirms this story.
The Spanish newspaper adds that Wijnaldum would currently tend to switch to France. The Dutchman is out of his contract with Liverpool this summer and can therefore be picked up transfer-free.
The sources indicate to Mundo Deportivo that PSG has ‘
made a much higher bid than Barcelona‘. The Spanish superpower does not have the financial resources to get even closer to PSG’s offer. While ESPN reported that Wijnaldum has not yet made a decision, Mundo Deportivo thinks it will not be long before an agreement is concluded with the French club.
It would be a setback for Ronald Koeman, who would have liked to add Wijnaldum to the Barcelona selection. The two know each other well from their joint time with the Dutch team.
