‘NAC does not put record purchase in shop window, but also does not want to renew it’

For record purchase Kaj de Rooij, the coming season will be over or below at NAC Breda. The attacker has a one-year contract and is not put in the window yet, but a new contract offer does not have to expect De Rooij either.
Two years ago, NAC paid about four tons for De Rooij to FC Eindhoven, excluding a promotion bonus of another hundred thousand euros. In Breda, however, the outside player has not yet been able to fulfill his transfer fee. Because De Rooij expires his contract in 2023, it is not inconceivable that he walks out the door at NAC for free. The Pearl of the South is also not planning to make an offer for an extension to the Bestenaar any time soon, reports BN DeStem.
NAC, however, De Rooij is not going to put this transfer window in the shop window either. The club first wants it to perform for the next six months. Conversations about a contract extension may follow in the winter. Of course, it could be that De Rooij will flourish again in the next six months and then have the clubs to choose if NAC wants to renew. According to BN DeSTEM, this is ‘a business risk that NAC is now consciously taking. ‘
