NASA releases video with footage of Mars robot landing

NASA has released a video of the Martian Explorer Perseverance. You can see how the huge fall screen folds out and the robot jeep descends to the planet, throwing off the heat shield. The Perseverance then collapsed to the ground via a pulley system.

The video made of nearly three hundred images was posted on the YouTube channel of the American Space Agency. During the descent, no sound could be recorded because a microphone was not functioning. However, a short sound recording of wind on the surface of Mars was performed. The fragment lasts about ten seconds.

Text continues underneath the video.

The robot landed on Mars Thursday. Pictures were already shown on Friday. Among other things, the scout has to investigate stones and soil. NASA is preparing a flight of the small helicopter that the Mars rover has with it.
