The Cooperating Aid Organizations, united in Giro555, ask all day long for support to help the Lebanese population. Since Friday, the aid organizations have been calling in spotlights to donate. Within three days 2.2 million euro came in.
Action day mainly online
The action day started from Studio 47 in Hilversum, where a small action centre has been set up. The day is supported by NPO, RTL, Talpa Network and Facebook and will mainly take place online because of the corona measures. On the Facebook page of Giro555 there will be a live stream with performances by Lebanese and Dutch artists.
At 7 p.m. there is an extra broadcast of tv program Op1, which is dedicated to the action day.
Also, an American yellow school bus with BN’ers goes across the country to collect. At 1 p.m. a new intermediate stand will follow and at midnight the final stand will be announced.
