Stuck In Attic, a 3-member Romanian studio, took out its new project on Kickstarter a couple of days ago: the Near-Mage adventure game. And the success was unconditional: the required $30,000 the game raised in 12 hours. And now six additional goals have been unlocked.
Near-Mage takes place in the same universe as the studio‘s previous project, Gibbous – A Cthulhu Adventure. The main character, a high school graduate, receives an invitation from her cousin from Transylvania to spend her summer.
But this is a pretext: it’s actually about being able to go to the magist. The developers have prepared over 80 hand-drawn 4K backgrounds, dozens of unique characters whose lives are to change, orchestral soundtrack and exciting plot.
If the campaign continues to be successful, the game will feature Russian localization and professional English voice. The game is planned to be released on RS.
