The Greek police held a headpiece of the Greek neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party on Thursday in Athens. Christos Pappas has fled since the trial against dozens of Golden Dawn members in October. He got 13 years in jail.
Nearly sixty members were convicted in the sample process last year, including party leader Nikolaos Michaloliakos and MEP Ioannis Lagos, who was arrested in April after his parliamentary immunity was lifted. The allegations range from leading a criminal organization to murder and illegal weapons possession. Pappas was the last prominent member of Golden Dawn to stay out of the hands of justice.
Golden Dawn was Greeces third party in 2015, but was named criminal organization by the court last year.
