Journalists‘ impressions of Square Enix’s new Guardians of the Galaxy have appeared online, as well as fresh gameplay videos. The reviews, although preliminary, were largely positive — the authors spent about an hour and a half with the game in total. The player is allowed to make decisions in relation to or in conjunction with other members of the squad.
The results of the selection will influence further playthroughs — for example, if you learn the details of a character‘s past, you can unlock additional gameplay features or tools. In combat, you will need to pick up the right combo strikes, using the special capabilities of each of the Guardians and unlocking new abilities.
The project pushes the user to create different combinations to diversify the passage. The guards will not always respond favourably to inquiries from Peter Quill, who is to play for.
In cases like this, you will have to find some solutions to the problem — sometimes it will be enough to ask the character to help two. Different dialogue options can also lead to different combat styles — you can try sneaking up quietly or staging an open attack.
There doesn’t seem to be a wrong choice as there is no system of morality. Among the shortcomings, the author Polygon noted a confusing wheel of dialogs when it is not fully clear whether the “spoken” option is left or not.
But maybe this problem won‘t be felt in the full version of the game. “Igromania” also managed to evaluate the project, which left a pleasant impression.
